Just a little day trip involving vintage, imagination and subcultures. (bit of a giggle to!)
Hippy: A calm cotton dress to go with there outlook and way of being. Skin tone with delicate embroidery. This could be warn with a large cardigan or poncho for warmth on a cool night. Although lots of accessories wont be warn due to the celebration of natural beauty. (Love beads and bangles can be a large exception to this.)
Punk. Expressionist and angry, wearing well known punk stereotypes as tartan trousers and Dr martins. The leather jacket is made punk due to the use of clasps and zips, looking heavy and warn to represent the emotion of 'dont care!'. Warn with more layers of distressed clothing and anarchist symbols.
To be quite honest this look took over itself due to overwhelming amounts of beautiful clothes and excited for the task of dressing up. But yes like the others it did start with a sub-culture in fact being rock-a-billy. The inspiration for this being the rounded collar and pattern on the jumpsuit, maybe styled with a fur coat an creepers to give the full rock-a-billy look.
